This is a professional hematocrit centrifuge that has a AC24P hematocrit rotor. The main application of the DM1424 is in the determination of volume fractions of erythrocytes in blood for diagnostic purposes and doping tests. Other main uses include photometric determination of bilirubin content in neonate blood samples. Further, this hematocrit centrifuge from DLAB is suitable for extraction of DNA and RNA.
